COVID Letter from Dr. Jen

After the initial Launch of Dr. Jen's UVRx, Covid hit and I put my passion project of Dr. Jen's UVRx on hold to focus on patient care through the stressful times of the pandemic.

With the increased emphasis on outdoor activity, and avoidance of medical care, I am now seeing more severe and widespread premature aging conditions and skin cancer cases. With Covid as a way of life and people continuing to seek the outdoors, Dr. Jen’s UVRx is back on track with renewed vigor to highlight the importance of sun protection and provide sporty and stylish options.

I have recently developed an even better sleeve to protect against skin cancer, premature aging, and sun spots, thanks to my partnership with a California-based manufacturer of technical sports fabric. Our new product has a higher UPF (50+), a cooler and lighter fabric, a more sleek hand design with a reverse slip through thumb hole, and a new specialized grip eliminating the need for the the heavy silicone elastic band. These design features make the sleeve even more form fitting. I am proud to announce that more size options are now available making my sleeves accessible to many more people.

I have proudly partnered with a local, SF Bay Area female-owned manufacturer, Contingenci by Good Human. With an all woman workforce, Contingenci’s mission is to get people back into their health and wellness passions safely and sustainably. They are certainly aligned with my health mission and have been working hard to produce the best high-quality Sunsleeves for Dr. Jen’s UVRx.

We have big plans at Dr. Jen’s so stay tuned for more stylish designs and seasonal products to hit the site soon!
